In class, there was a slide show made by a group in our class. They talked about events during the civil rights and one that stuck out the most was about the death of four girls. Four young girls getting killed sounded so brutal, I couldn't believe people had the mind to do this to these young innocent children. On September 16th 1963 KKK bombed and not only injured 22 people, they killed four little girls. Their names were Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, and Carol Denise McNair. The church received a call and within minutes, bombs went off. Not only was it traumatic, these four little girls lost their life. Martin Luther King called this “one of the most vicious and tragic crimes ever perpetrated again humanity”.
